Best Sea Units

This is an overview of all sea units you can get in Grepolis comparing their power in attack and defense. The attack and defense power is shown as per population (i.e. if a light ship uses 10 population, its attack power has been divided by 10).

You don't need all sea units to function and some are totally useless and should be avoided.

* Fire Ships take out any sea unit with an attack value on a basis one to one while defending. The Hydra as a mythical unit remains untouched. 

Fire Ships can't touch sea units with an attack value of one. A Colony Ship will just bounce off the Light Ships and either return to sender or worse land if there are enough land units on transport ships to overwhelm the city.

While a single bireme can sink a whole fleet of transport ships with the entire army when attacking unaccompanied by light ships, the same army will be all over your city if there are only fire ships to defend.
